Ventilation is defined as moving air, normally supplying fresh air to an enclosed space.
Ventilation can be either passive or by force. Simply opening a door or window will allow the outside air to come in but ventilation requires circulation. Opening one window doesn't work; however, if you open two windows, the air will come in from one window and go out the other.
Living in the desert means that most times we don’t want the outside hotter air to come in. After all, we pay to cool a room using an air conditioner. But at the same time, we don’t want hot air in such places as our attic to penetrate our living quarters either.
At Attic Tune-Up Systems, we have solutions that can not only make air move but also remove trapped hot air in your attic to prevent it from coming into your home. What we do everyday is help people like you reduce their utility bills by ventilating their attics.
We can even make your garage a place that can be used during the summer months without having to suffer with the heat.
Sometimes a door to the attic (hatch) needs to be part of the install. Click here to see photos of an attic hatch panel installed.
The following links will take you to pages showing solutions and options that can both save you money and expand the usefulness of parts of your home normally avoided during the summer months.
