Flex-Fan™

The Flex-Fan™ is the primary fan we make. Normally, we install it in one of four locations: the roof, the ceiling, the garage, and through a wall. The installation location determines whether we refer to it as an attic fan, a garage fan, or a whole house fan. The design and layout of your home will dictate the fan size and installed location for your home.

A Flex-Fan™ installed in your garage ceiling and exhausting to the attic or in a wall and exhausting to the outside of your home are the usual locations for the fan. To exhaust the hot air, you must make a path for the air to be vented and exchanged.

To make the air circulate we need to have air come from another source. This is where venting comes in.

Venting for a roof installation normally means venting the soffits or eaves. Without having the ability to replace the hot air with cooler air, there is no advantage in installing a fan. Many times customers who have had a fan installed by another vendor will tell me that they wasted their money. I offered to come out at no charge, only to find the install was done without ensuring there was enough vents to handle the air exchange.

I feel you will find the Flex-Fan™ is the best fan available, but no fan will work properly, or save you money if the install doesn't also include making sure there is adequate intake and exhaust vents for air exchanging.
